C3DO participant COMs that will be administering C3DO early in Phase 3 have been busy with their preparations, receiving updated case materials, and accessing their online training courses. As with Phase 2, the materials and protocols for this phase are the result of collaboration during the previous phase, with the NBOME and COMs working together to identify opportunities for improvement. It is exciting to see those improvements in action, with enhancements across the pilot process, designed to both make it more user-friendly for COMs and increase standardization.
Also, in February, NBOME staff and consultants presented on C3DO at the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) annual conference. If you missed that, we will also be presenting about C3DO with representatives from colleges of osteopathic medicine at American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) Educating Leaders 2025 and at the Association for Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) annual meeting.
