Job Summary

NBOME is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and energetic Medical Education Relationship Manager to maintain and strengthen external relationships with medical education institutional partners and clients. This collaborative leader will be responsible for relationship management, planning and improvement of client experiences. The position is charged with establishing a shared vision and approach for supporting medical education clients, along with leading collaborative technical and operational initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and client success. Working with internal and external partners, this role is responsible for identifying and referring business opportunities for NBOME’s assessment product and services portfolio.

Responsibilities

Medical Education Relationship Management

  • Develop an intimate knowledge of NBOME assessment products and services and awareness of current changes and trends in the medical education field.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with medical education and related organizations, and provide consultation to support client success, retention, and brand enhancement.
  • Plan, coordinate and attend visits and webinars with medical education clients and prepare presentation and supporting documentation.
  • Identify and communicate system improvements to enhance business decisions and support medical education clients and organizations.
  • Collaborate with client support, assessment, and technology teams to improve and refine operational systems, protocols and policies and respond to client needs.
  • Maintain awareness of product development, updates, and usage data and use insights to identify business opportunities.
  • Facilitate focus or advisory groups to maximize client engagement, provide input on assessment offerings and brand enhancement.

 

Analysis, Data Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate client contacts and system records, as well as an in-depth knowledge of clients’ needs and utilization.
  • Prepare enrollment projections for financial, utilization and capacity planning.
  • Provide mentorship to the client support team and implement best practices in client documentation, education, triage, and escalation processes.

 

Qualifications include:

·         Bachelor’s degree in health care related field, public administration, or business administration; master’s degree preferred.

·         Minimum of 5-7+ years of progressive work experience in medical education or health care setting in a professional relations and service capacity

·         Demonstrated experience and success in creating and building relationships within the medical education community.

·         Strong organizational, analytical and computer skills, knowledge of CRM and systems

·         Success in managing multiple projects effectively in an academic medical or healthcare setting.

·         Professional demeanor with exemplary interpersonal skills.

·         Verbal, written communication and presentation skills, and attention to detail and accuracy

·         Some travel and flexible work schedule availability (weekends, evenings)
